Workforce Data Quality Initiative
WDQI supports the development of longitudinal administrative systems that integrate workforce data and education data. Focused on improving data quality and connectivity, building better performance and reporting systems, and generating insights and intelligence people can use, WDQI is the sister of a parallel effort support by the US Department of Education called Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS). The two programs have worked separately and in tandem across states for nearly a decade.

The DOL has launched the WDQI Dashboard to help people learn about the WDQI program. The dashboard offers a high-level summary of grant awards to states, lead agencies, and grant-supported products and deliverables. Key features include: State Grantee Map, Grant Awards, Lead Agencies and Products, grants data, and a user guide.
